AirBnB / Cottage with 2 bedrooms and Pool

This charming cottage is ideally located in the most sought after address in Franschhoek. It is a convenient and secure 200m walk from the village with a selection of exclusive restaurants, galleries, cafes, clothing boutiques and bars. With it being on the edge of the vineyards, it’s an ideal location from which to explore all that Franschhoek has to offer. This historic and beautiful town is surrounded by picturesque scenery and mountains, just waiting for you to explore. La Pomme de Terre has an open plan living space centred around its original French fireplace which warms the house beautifully on a chilly evening. The space has exposed beams for maximum light and in the summer, all the French doors open out onto the expansive stoep with an inviting indoor / outdoor living space.

The open plan space includes a living area, with comfortable seating, as well as a dining table that can accommodate 4 people.

The kitchen is fully equipped if you prefer to eat-in with a Woolworths and Checkers for the necessary supplies, within walking distance. That being said, Franschhoek is South Africa’s wine and foodie destination, so we would highly recommend sampling the famous restaurants, which are a mere stroll up the road.

The garden boasts a sunny pool set under a pergola where you can catch mountain views between the 30-year old fruit trees that are dotted throughout the property.

Two bedrooms with large wooden doors and sash windows leading onto the stoep. The bedrooms have brand new, plush beds and high quality linen for a great nights’ sleep. Both bedrooms have exposed ceilings for maximum light.

The cottage has two traditional farm-style bathrooms. One of the bathrooms has a shower, and the other a traditional Victorian bath.

Guests will have access to the entire home and garden. This will be exclusively yours for your stay. La Pomme de Terre is solar powered; no more load shedding.
