The Dylan Lewis Sculpture Garden

Located between two worlds, one wild and one tamed, the Dylan Lewis Sculpture Garden borders the manicured suburbs of Stellenbosch and a rugged mountain wilderness where leopard still roam.
In this garden of private myth, the artist explores the Jungian notion of ‘the wilderness within’. More than 60 sculptures constituting a comprehensive record of his artistic development thus far have been carefully sited along 4 km of paths.

Babylonstoren

Dating back to 1692, Babylonstoren is a historic Cape Dutch farm that boasts one of the best preserved farmyards in the Cape. Beloved for its magnificent garden that is laid out over 3,5 hectares, the garden is divided into 15 sections that comprise fruit, vegetables, berries, bees for pollinating, indigenous plants, fragrant lawns, a prickly pear maze, ducks and chickens, and more. A secluded path runs along the stream where thousands of Clivias flower in spring. The garden also boasts a plethora of trees of historical and botanical import. Every aspect of Babylonstoren are led by the ever-changing tapestry and botanical diversity of the garden.

Boschendal

Boschendal Wine Estate might be one of the Western Cape’s oldest wine farms, but there’s plenty of new and exciting things happening on the farm.

You can expect live music, fresh farm produce, food stalls and other artisanal stands filled with handmade local products and a beautiful local is lekker vibe. Come live the farm under the starlight every Friday evening in summer.
